Since we’re on the topic of identify scraps of cars in the Maine woods,I submit this door that is somehow lodged under a gigantic boulder. Any ideas oppo?

When I was a kid in the 80s the area nearby had a lot of abandoned cars, like old vw beetles. I assume this came from that era, but I have no idea how it got under that rock.

The boulder hides a secret passageway to the upside-down. Someone tried to prop it up with a car door.

( Definitely looks similar to the door handle on my sisters ~1974 VW bug)

I’m going VW something, maybe Golf MkI as seen in pic above. Winder/handle? isn’t quite right but metal trim and armrest match.
